Auters spike lee and quentin tarantino

Spike Lee
pro african American as this is his background and does not like how the industry works at the moment as his background is coming from a run down area with high amounts of drug abuse and racsim which would make him slightly rebellious, he like controversy for free advertising such as the miracle at saint anna when he went against clint Eastwood.
Quentin Tarantino
Image result for spike lee vs quentin tarantinocharacter development in abundance always develops his characters during conversations such as in Pulp fiction as the two store robbers  talking about how they could improve there take during heists and improve the way the do thing by also robbing the wallets of people but before this the male robber talks about how the USA is going to hell with immigrants this shows this character being a racist with just this section of dialogue and this is how quentin develops his characters by talking now action or gun fights where there skills are shown people talk to each other to know more about each other. he also has a pro jewish stand point in most of his films which is seen in Inglorious barstards. he is close with groups of actors such as samuel l jackson, christopher waltz and Tim Roth often using the actors time and time again he does this so that the actors know how each other and the directors work so this docent slow everything down.

  1. Alex, I think that you may have constructed this post just from the notes in class? Maybe you should have another attempt after doing some research?

  2. I think you have some good information in this piece but it needs to be developed, especially for Spike Lee as you have a lack of content. Remember to use CCCEO.

  4. I think more content could be added for both directors but especially spike lee and I think you could include more examples of their films to further understand their place as auteurs
