children of men review

The film Children and men is about a birth- the beginning of a life and a a new erea of man kind. the story is this. in 2027 there has not been a birth of a baby in over 18 years due to poor female fertility and the youngest person in the world who is 18 years old which now considerer a baby and England boarders are closed and all imagrants and illegal ones.

there is this place called the fishers an orginisation that wants equal rights for all races in england.
Then we have the goverment that want to keep all immagrants out and only keep british people in (Ukip anyone).

The fisher group have done bombings before in liverpool even thought we dont know exactly what happend it effected them so they use vilolence to protect themselves and others as well but they wish to find fairness with peace.



the main charecters ex girlfriend/current girlfriend introduce Theo faron ex-rally particapant and poloition to a desk job but this is for the better for self pressivation. he lost his mother what seems recently but we are never told when or how and his farther is never mentiond but this charecter is basiclly most people in england that are struggling for money and all the cards not showing good and going his way.

then we have the second main charecter a young african/forjein girl kee who seems to be in early twentys but the main thing is that she is pregnant, the first natural birth in 18 years but the fishers have been getting desprate and because of this they do not want the goverment to get to her so they do not take the baby and make it look like it is a british baby and not a forjien baby.

then we have theos ex girl friend / current girl friend (its never really explained) juilian she disappread to continue fighting for what she beilived while theo stopped. julian is a peaceful charecter but we are never shown/told otherwises so its really not clear if she can defend herself. but she was a mirror to a special groupe known like a myth called the humanity project which hides its self but helps to get the fertility back up but she was never told how to communicate to the other fishers she offers theo money to help her out so its clear she is well connected to get the ammount of money but she is a pacifist and wants people to be united though this ideology of anything for the kids.

i would highly recommend this film with it being dark in nature of a decent possiblity of what might happen in the future is highly likely but in this case it is an extreme version which is scary.
